If your house needs restumping, I would highly recommend Rob and his team for the job.

I knew I had problems in the original part of my house when some doors weren’t closing, cracks had appeared in various walls and the floor felt a bit spongy and echoey in certain areas.

I did some research, made a few calls and was referred to Robert Hubbard of RWH Sound Foundations. I called Robert and explained the issues and he said it could be one of two issues - underpinning or restumping and that he would need to inspect the house to confirm.

Robert promptly booked the inspection and turned up on time, looked at the problems inside the house, got under the house and quickly confirmed that it needed to be restumped. He explained the whole process including the building permit application.

The work was booked and the RWH Sound Foundations team finished it within 5 days. I was quite shocked to see the state of the old wooden stumps and I’m so relieved to have new cement stumps that will last forever. The doors are closing again, some of the cracks look visibly smaller and the floor feels rock solid.
